The airline mocks Real Madrid and the fans punish

The Royals have had a scrappy season…and are preparing for Mourinho’s return

The Irish airline has poked fun at Real Madrid’s woes this season, playing up rumors of an imminent takeover from Jose Mourinho.

Real Madrid went through a zero season, in which they lost all the titles they were fighting for under the leadership of Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in the transfer market, published news on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter) yesterday, Monday, about the contract between Real Madrid and Mourinho starting next season.

His post, as expected, received a flurry of comments soon after it was published, but one response caught more attention than the others, that of low-cost airline Ryanair, which wrote on its official account: “More coaches than titles this season.”

But what the company didn’t expect was Real Madrid fans turning their taunts on him in defense of his club.

The airline’s post was filled with comments from X’s followers criticizing its service and poor experience.
