Al-Raqi manages to settle the most famous deal

Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahly have finalized the deal for Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão from Sporting Lisbon ahead of an official announcement of his signing.

There were rumors in the press that “Al-Ahly” had reached an agreement with Lisbon regarding the inclusion of the 26-year-old Portuguese, and all that was left was to get his approval.

Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Al-Ahly have managed to complete the deal for €45m, plus a further €5m in variables, after getting Trincao’s approval.

Trincao is expected to sign a contract with Al-Ahli that will guarantee his continuation for at least 3 seasons, while receiving an annual salary of approximately €10 million.

Trincao was a prominent target for many European clubs in the current summer transfer window, but Al-Raqi began the deal to offset the departure of Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez.
