Thanks to his former player… Financial recovery for Real Madrid

Real Madrid are preparing for a financial recovery thanks to their former Uruguayan player Alvaro Rodríguez, who currently plays for Elche.

“I mentioned”AS newspaper“Elche are close to agreeing an agreement with Bournemouth to sell Alvaro for €25m, plus €5m in incentives and variables.

Real Madrid owns 50% of the rights of the Uruguayan player, so they will receive 12.5 million euros from the transaction price.

But the Royals will lose any future rights to the player because the contract does not include any clause that gives them a preemptive right to buy him back or reinstate him in the future.

The 24-year-old striker graduated from Real Madrid’s youth ranks before going on loan to Getafe before moving to Elche under coach Eder Sarabia last season.

Álvaro has been one of the main pillars of Elche’s success, remaining among the Spanish league club, after he made 34 appearances in La Liga, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
