Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce they are legally married. The couple celebrated their wedding on Friday in New York City, nearly three years after they first met.
The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, Swift’s spokeswoman said Friday to confirm the nuptials.
Swift’s brother, Austin, served as “best man,” while Kelce’s brother, former NFL player Jason Kelce, was best man. The couple did not have wives or husbands.
The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in midtown Manhattan, where screens outside the venue flashed the festive message at 7.20pm local time: “FINE&T MARRIED!”
According to Swift’s spokesperson, both Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior couture by Jonathan Anderson. Swift also wore Cartier jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes. Louboutin also designed many of the shoes that Swift wore on her Eras Tour.
There was a work disruptions around the square on Friday. Many celebrities were spotted on their way to the event dressed in their best attire, including pop singer Ed Sheeran, model Gigi Hadid, actress and writer Lena Dunham, actors Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper and Ethan Hawke, Swift’s frequent photographer Jack Antonoff and NFL stars Cooper Kupp and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Also spotted were members of Swift’s close circle, including longtime publicist Tree Paine and childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard.
Stevie Nicks, who Swift cited as a mentor, says she had to attend the festival.
Clearances received by various media before the wedding show that 1,000 guests were present. Cell phones are said to be prohibited at this location.
