T20 World Cup: England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is out for at least two matches with a calf injury.

Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt has been ruled out of at least two of England’s World T20 matches with a left calf injury on Tuesday.

Sciver-Brunt, 33, retired on 48 not injured during England’s four-wicket victory over Ireland in Southampton.

Scans on Wednesday revealed a strain in the all-around left calf — the same muscle she injured earlier this summer.

They will lose against Scotland on Saturday and the West Indies on Wednesday, but England have not been eliminated at this stage.

The England captain said she would be assessed in the coming weeks.
