T1 Phone PR firm ‘not helping Trump Mobile continue’

If you’ve been following my reporting on Trump’s phone, you’ll know that Trump Mobile doesn’t keep the lines of communication open to the press. That doesn’t seem to be changing, with the company no longer working with its longtime media company.

Poplar group has represented Trump Mobile since last June, when the company’s co-founder Chris Walker gave a statement to USA Todayinsisting at the time that “T1 phones are proudly made in America.” This, of course, is not true, which even Trump Mobile now accepts it.

I have spoken to Walker several times, and he offered to expedite shipping SeasideTwo orders for the T1 Phone, although we are still waiting. This week, he told me his team “is no longer supporting Trump Mobile.” He did not know if the company had retained the new PR firm in the Poplar area.

Perhaps with the phone being launched now, the company doesn’t think it needs to put up with the media anymore. Of course, the extent of the installation is still unknown: Few radio stations have a phone, and there are at least a few people. Social Truth and X who seem to be genuine buyers, but that’s about it for now. For more on Trump’s phone, see mine a great ending to his first birthday.
