Swatch says the gold used in these limited edition pieces from around 1969, comes from old Omega watches that were melted down in the company’s production facilities. In 1969, 11 grams of 18K gold apparently cost $11, so Swatch decided to buy the gold in this MoonSwatch based on the gold price on July 21, 1969, rather than the current gold price. That means Mission to the Moon 1969 sells for about $620.
Maybe think about a scandal that destroyed Swatch stores around the world in the month of May during the opening Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop– Repetition of circular rage MoonSwatch was founded four years ago—Swatch is making this limited edition available for purchase online.
