Former Saudi Al-Nasr coach Portugal’s Jorge Jesus has decided to take the position to coach Al-Akhdar after reports linked him with replacing Greece’s Georgios Donis if the Football Association decides to get rid of the latter.

There have been multiple reports in the past few hours that Dennis has been pulled out of Saudi Arabia training due to his lackluster appearance, which has seen him bid adieu to the 2026 World Cup finals.

The newspaper said:Sports“Saudi Arabia, Jesus is not against coaching the Saudi national team, but he is waiting for an official offer to start negotiations and determine his demands.

The source elaborated that the Portuguese coach is looking forward to a new experience after his journey with Al-Nasr ends, and he may take over the management of Al-Akhdar in the coming days.

The news comes despite Jesus being linked with coaching a number of European and Brazilian clubs, in addition to the Portugal national team, who have no intention of extending Spain’s Roberto Martinez’s contract after the World Cup.

Saudi Arabia managed just two points at the World Cup in America, drawing with Uruguay and Cape Verde and losing 4-0 to Spain to finish bottom of Group E.
