Suno launches Spark incubator program to feed independent artists for its AI system

Suno has ambitions to be more than just a toy to churn out AI slop, it also wants to be a destination for breaking new artists. Spark it’s their new one incubator program for independent artists who provide support, advice, and marketing support.

To register, artists must be an unsigned singer, songwriter, or producer releasing music under their own name. They must also agree with others terms and Conditions which has raised eyebrows at Suno subreddit. First, you must agree to make your music available on Suno in order to edit it. This is not only a great touch, but the main license that gives Suno to your works, including the ability to create peripherals, is. By agreeing, you also waive your right to sue and participate in a class action, and grant Suno exclusive access to your assets. Suno is already facing a lawsuit filed by a group of independent artists.

Perhaps the most worrying is “Only good vibes“The privacy and non-disparagement decision requires you to promote Suno and gives the company the right to request the modification and removal of your personal information.” It states that the student “will not make any statement or representation, directly or otherwise, whether oral or written, that suggests Suno, Suno employees, and/or in Suno’s software may constitute exclusion of products or services,”
