Stina Blackstein: The Arsenal striker is quietly making a big noise.

That’s second only to Shaw, but the Jamaican striker probably has more credit in the bank with more than double that number of goals.

Maybe that’s why Blackstein is sometimes reduced to a bit part role at the Emirates Stadium – or maybe it’s the level of competition.

After all, she will be up against one of the best strikers in the Russo, England heroes Chloe Kelly and Beth Mead, £1m Canadian winger Olivia Smith and Arsenal stalwart Caitlin Foord.

The former Linköping, Montpellier and BK Haken are grumbling forwards.

She added: “We have a lot of quality in this team and we are a very good team who want to support each other. I feel safe in this team and I know my team-mates have my back.”

“This club feels very much like home.”

She also won the Champions League last year. Arsenal will have the chance to make it back-to-back if eight-time winners Lyon can avoid defeat.
