A group of 12 states led by California sued Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery today sought to block the $111 billion deal that was greenlit by the Trump administration last month.

“The illegal merger of these two behemoths would result in higher, lower, and lower movie and television prices, destroying movie theaters, cable distributors, and ultimately, every sofa and movie theater audience in the US,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said. he said.
