Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is set to shake up the summer transfer market with what reporters have described as an “impossible” deal as he plans to make a €150m bid for the Champions League star in what could be the most expensive deal in Real Madrid’s history.
Journalist Jose Luis Sanchez revealed on El Chiringuito that Perez is hiding a “sudden, unexpected surprise” for Real Madrid fans, confirming that the offer will be made tomorrow, Tuesday.
“I was in shock when they told me.”
“If he is the player I think he is, it will be a completely unexpected surprise,” Sanchez said in an enthusiastic tone. “When they told me, I was shocked.”
“Not Vitinyan or Olize, but I can’t say for sure. I’m sure he can sign for 150 million euros. The player that Perez will offer to include this amount is incredible and it will be a huge blow.”
Peres’ solemn promise
Last Thursday, Peres announced during the “Horizont” program with Iker Jimenez. “Soon, on Tuesday, I will make an offer to one of the Champions League clubs, which will be the largest amount that Real Madrid have ever paid for a player, no less than 150 million.
Names are excluded
The identity of the targeted player has since been hotly debated, with several names floating around in the media, including Olissi, Vitinha, Joao Neves and Enzo Fernandez.
However, Sanchez stressed that “none of these names are ideal choices”, adding that Real Madrid fans would be surprised if Perez managed to complete the deal.
Perez’s great confidence
Sanchez declined to give further details about the player’s identity, but stressed that “all indications are that Perez has made significant progress in the deal and he is confident of its completion, otherwise he would not have mentioned the matter to millions of people.”
A landslide election victory
“We will continue to work for Real Madrid to continue to win titles, boasting the best stadium in the world and the best players in the world. Perez’s convincing victory in the Real Madrid presidential election.
The pope, then the deal
Perez is due to host the Pope at the Santiago Bernabeu today, Monday, before kick-off on Tuesday to complete all the necessary procedures to complete a deal that could revolutionize the transfer market.
