Sharon remembers Ozzy Osbourne a year after his death.

Sharon Osbourne, the widow of heavy metal pioneer Ozzy, has used the first anniversary of his death to tell fans to remember him by playing “really loud” music.

Osbourne spoke to the BBC a year after her husband’s death, which has sparked public mourning, and tributes to his contribution to music.

In the year In an interview about her feelings and how her voice sometimes breaks with emotion following the summer of 2025, she told BBC Radio 5 that she wanted people to “remember how funny he was – funny and poignant and real”.

“As Ozzy says, ‘When you wanna remember me, just crank the music up, as loud as you can and bang your head.’

Osborne was in her late husband’s hometown of Birmingham as the city prepared to hold its first on Wednesday. Ozzy Daya free celebration of the Aston-based Black Sunday front veteran.

“He was right,” she recalls.

“He never tried to be anything other than what he was, and he would tell you the truth about everything and he was, you knew where you were with him.

“He was real, very real and funny,” she added.

“I mean, we could have the worst arguments in the world, but we’d laugh because he’d say something really funny and we’d just argue.”
