Democratic lawmaker Sheldon Whitehouse says the US is turning into one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
Americans who voted for President Donald Trump see a “serious violation” of his campaign promise to avoid unnecessary wars, especially the United States-Israeli war on Iran, US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse argues.
The Democrat tells host Steve Clemons that the Iran war has been “handled in a shocking and unjust manner”.
Other countries are increasingly saying that the US is similar to “some of the worst-performing countries to deal with, where solicitations for bribery, side deals, favoritism and ulterior motives are the order of the day,” says Whitehouse.
He also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “has not been a good friend”.
