Prime Minister Andy Burnham has begun building his new cabinet following the resignation of Sir Keir Starmer.

Among the appointments are Ed Miliband as Foreign Secretary, Shabana Mahmoud, who will continue as Home Secretary, and former Labor Deputy Leader Angela Rayner as Home Secretary.
