Enrique Riquelme, a potential candidate for the president of Real Madrid, did not give details about his technical plans if he wins the election, when his candidacy is completed.
However, the newspaper El Confidencial has revealed that Enrique Riquelme has actually started moving on two fronts, preparing to officially announce his candidacy for the elections.
The current president of the monarchy, Florentino Perez, surprised everyone by calling for early elections, even though his previous term was supposed to last until 2029.
Peres confirmed that he will run again to protect the interests of the club and will not resign. So far he is the only candidate, but one name is buzzing behind the scenes: Enrique Riquelme.
The newspaper clarified that the first front is Jurgen Klopp, as Riquelme’s selection team met with representatives of the German coach in an attempt to convince him to take over the management of the team.

He noted that Klopp’s name had previously been proposed as a replacement for Xabi Alonso without the club accepting it, but El Confidential confirms he is now Riquelme’s first choice, ruling out the scenario of Jose Mourinho returning should the candidate win the election.
It was reported that the second front refers to Erling Haaland, as the newspaper talked about the direct contact between Riquelme and the Norwegian striker.
Although Hollande’s contract with Manchester City runs until 2034, El Confidencial suggest that Guardiola’s expected departure could open the door to a transfer bid for the player if an understanding is reached with Riquelme.
