Al Hilal striker Karim Benzema and his Italian coach Simone Inzaghi have come under fire for their failure to convince the Blues’ fans during this season’s competition.

Al Hilal are set to face Al Fayha in the 34th and final round of the Roshan Professional League Championship this Thursday evening.

Journalist Abdel Rahman Al-Jamaz said during his speech on Al Arabiya FM radio. “Benzema and Inzaghi should be removed after tonight’s game because they don’t fit into the Crescent project.”

He added: “Al-Hilal’s score is high, but they can get rid of some players and the coach, considering preparing a disciplined squad for the new season.”

He concluded. “Al-Hilal spent too much money in the last Mercato and signed a bunch of players in different positions, but it only benefited from Sultan Mandash.”

Benzema joined Al Hilal in the last winter transfer window from Al Ittihad after his contract was terminated.
