Salah’s agent complicates his transfer to “Besiktas”, and there is 24 hours for the decision.

Talks over a move for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to Turkish side Besiktas have collapsed after progressing over the past few days.

The Turkish club are looking to land the Egypt international on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expires, as talks between the two sides took a positive turn after Besiktas upped their bid for a two-year contract extension.

Turkish media reports have revealed that the new offer includes a guaranteed salary of €15 million per year, but the talks have run into demands from the player’s agent, Rami Abbas.

Turkish journalist Ogun Shahinoglu confirmed that the deal was complicated again, explaining that the additional value of the things Abbas demanded, first of all the image rights and a percentage of jersey sales, was almost equivalent to the salary of the player himself.

In his tweet on his microblog on the “X” platform, the Turkish journalist noted that a new meeting will take place between Salah’s agent and the Besiktas administration in an attempt to overcome differences and finalize the agreement.

In turn, the newspaper reported.turkiyetoday:Besiktas have given Salah 24 hours to respond to the final offer, which could increase his total annual income to between 19 and 20 million euros.

The newspaper clarified that the offer includes €15 million in fixed salary, on top of €4 million in performance-related incentives, in addition to image rights clauses. If all the bonuses are activated, the Turkish club’s total commitment in the two-season contract will be more than 40 million euros.
