Salah sets Besiktas up for grabs… and Van Dijk is on his way

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to the Turkish league from Besiktas following the end of his successful spell with Liverpool.

Reliable Turkish journalist Ertan Sozgun revealed the behind-the-scenes negotiations of Besiktas officials with the Pharaoh of Egypt.

“Besiktas asked Salah’s opinion about the possibility of sitting on the bench in some games,” Sozgun said via video.

He added: “The Egyptian player has agreed that he will participate in all the matches and expressed his desire to make a continuous contribution.”

Sozgun continued. “Salah has confirmed to Beşiktaş officials that he wants to participate in all the matches, add more in each game.

He noted: “Salah also told them he can play as a forward or behind the spearhead in addition to being on the wing.”

He explained. “If an agreement is reached between the two sides, there have already been discussions about when Salah will come to Istanbul and the Egyptian player has told them he could come early next month.”

While the LÜE TV platform on the X website published the statements of Turkish journalist Levent Umit Erol, where he said: “Salah will officially sign on Thursday or Saturday and Besiktas have already completed the deal.

He continued. “The Vlahovic deal is also almost settled and I have another surprise, Virgil van Dijk.”

He concluded. “Van Dijk’s agent will arrive in Istanbul to meet with Besiktas officials.
