England secured third place at the 2026 World Cup after a dramatic 6-4 win over their French counterparts.
The French national team failed to win in the farewell match of its coach Didier Deschamps, who will officially leave the Roosters after the World Cup.
The Three Lions started the match with an early goal in the third minute through Declan Rice.
15 minutes later, Ezri Konsa increased the advantage of the English with the second goal.
Bukayo Saka managed to score two goals in a row in the 37th and (45+1) minutes, ending the first half with a score of 4-0 at the expense of the English.
