Ronaldo’s son draws the features of his future. Will Saudi Arabia leave?

Today, Tuesday, a press release revealed Cristiano Ronaldo’s vision for his future in the world of football.

The 15-year-old currently plays for the youth team of Al-Nasr Saudi Club, a club that includes his father Cristiano Ronaldo.

The teenager is expected to play alongside his father The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is in the first team next season, according to multiple media reports.

But The Sun newspaper has confirmed that Ronaldo’s eldest son believes testing himself at the main academies is vital to achieving his dream of turning professional.

Like his legendary father, Ronaldo Jr. wants to play on Europe’s biggest stage, the Champions League, a tournament that sees intense competition between the continent’s giants.

Ronaldo Jr. grew up playing for several top teams, including the academies of Juventus and Manchester United, while his father was at both clubs.

The youngster is desperate to return to the UK or Madrid, but his family fears the glare of the media, which will naturally try to compare him to his father.

The Portugal youth star trained with Real Madrid’s under-16 team last March while Ronaldo captain was recovering from injury in Spain.

Other possible destinations include Borussia Dortmund and Sporting Lisbon, where his father played.

Ronaldo Junior played in Portugal’s U-15 and U-17 national teams, winning the World Championship with the latter in November.

Along with international progress, Ronaldo Jr. has consistently displayed his father’s keen sense of goalscoring.

He scored 58 goals in 23 matches played as part of Juventus U-9 team, and 56 goals in 27 matches played as part of Al-Nasr U-15 team.
