Decisions awaited inside the royal castle
Real Madrid are considering removing Uruguayan Fede Valverde’s armband in charge following the latest crisis with French counterpart Aurelien Choumini, in addition to listening to offers made to him next summer.

Real believe the financial punishment is not enough and the blame is more on Valverde than Chuamin, and while there is also anger directed at the Frenchman, it is seen internally as a reaction after a provocation, leaving him less vulnerable to criticism within the team.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who has been particularly concerned about what has happened, more off the pitch than sporting problems this season, believes that institutional respect and internal discipline are fundamental pillars that cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
Moreover, Real Madrid’s performance in the last two seasons, marked by a lack of major titles, has led to a tightening of domestic politics.
In this context, the club only considers a few players unchanged ahead of the start of the most difficult summer transfer window in recent years.
Therefore, Valverde’s future has become unclear, and Real Madrid will not rule out offers to listen to the Uruguayan midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer period, provided that they satisfy the interests of the club.
