Real Madrid are testing a possible World Cup deal

It was reported in the press that Real Madrid wanted to include the player from Dortmund after the World Cup held in America, Canada and Mexico, with a clear condition for this.

Dortmund’s defender Nico Schlotterback was previously linked with a move to Real Madrid, but he extended his contract with the German club until 2031.

However, Bild newspaper have confirmed that Schloterbeck has returned to Real Madrid’s interest and if he performs well at the World Cup, the Spanish club will look to sign him.

The deal is expected to cost Real Madrid’s coffers between 50 and 60 million euros, a sum that seems affordable for the Spanish club.

Real Madrid came off a clean sheet for the second consecutive season and their president-elect is looking for a new term. Florentino Perez to build a strong team to regain the titles.
