Police body camera shows Golders green suspect Tasered

The Metropolitan Police has released footage from body-worn cameras of two responding officers who arrested a man suspected of stabbing two men in Golders Green, north London.

The clip appears to show the suspect walking toward the officers before the Taser was deployed.

The officers can be heard saying “drop the knife” repeatedly before the suspect falls to the ground. While the suspect is on the ground and working to restrain him, they continue to repeat the instructions.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley told reporters on Wednesday that he paid tribute to the officers who were “on the scene within minutes and whose actions saved lives and prevented further injuries”.
