A Palestinian doctor has been killed and three people injured in an Israeli attack in central Gaza, as Israeli migrants attacked Palestinian homes and property in the north and south of the occupied West Bank.
The attack in Palestine on Saturday, the fourth day of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, came as Israel violated a US “cease-fire” order imposed in October aimed at halting Israel’s terror war in Gaza.

Dr Jamal Abu Aboun, chief of surgery at Al-Yafa Medical Hospital in Gaza’s central Deir al-Balah district, was killed in an Israeli strike near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, also in Deir al-Balah on Saturday.
“The body of Jamal Abu Aoun and three injured people, including a child, arrived at the hospital after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of civilians near the hospital,” a medical source at Al-Aqsa Hospital told the Anadolu news agency.
Earlier, Israeli artillery targeted the areas east and south of the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Another attack targeted the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
At least 922 Palestinians have been killed and another 2,786 injured in Israeli attacks since October “to stop killing”, according to the Gaza Media Office.
Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, killing at least 72,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 172,000 others, according to Palestinian figures.
In a statement to the Associated Press, the Israeli army He explained the attitude of humiliating peopleauthorized laws related to the killing of Palestinians during the “ceasefire”.
Refugee soldiers who served in Gaza between last October and January said the Israeli army often opened fire on Palestinians who approached or crossed the so-called “Yellow Line”, the often ill-defined boundary separating the occupied territories from the rest of Israel.
One soldier said his fellow soldiers celebrated after a strike on a Palestinian truck killed everyone inside. “It was a jungle,” the soldier told the AP. “After the ceasefire, the rule was: If someone crosses the line, you shoot them.”
Another security guard said that the administration repeatedly emphasized the right to do everything. He said: “Many people thought that human life is worthless.”
Elsewhere in occupied Palestine, Israeli citizens attacked several houses on Saturday in the town of Beita, south of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency, Wafa.
They ransacked a house and smashed several cars, Wafa said.
State-run Voice of Palestine radio said Israeli forces were firing light bombs into the town.
In the south of the West Bank, settlers attacked Palestinian farms and destroyed several trees in Khirbet el-Muraq in Masafer Yatta, coordinator Osama Makhamra, who follows Israeli violations south of Hebron, told reporters.
Israeli settlers carried out at least 540 attacks in April against Palestinians and their property in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission’s monthly report.
The attacks ranged from “direct violence, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing farmers from accessing their land, confiscating property, demolishing houses and crops”.
Israeli military raids, arrests and attacks on settlers have increased in the West Bank since the beginning of the genocidal war in Gaza.
According to Palestinian statistics, Israeli soldiers and residents have killed 1,168 Palestinians, wounded 12,666, displaced nearly 33,000, and arrested nearly 23,000 in the West Bank since October 2023.
