Fourteen children were killed when the roof of a building near Lahore collapsed on them, authorities said.
The incident took place in a private educational center in Kahna neighborhood of Pakistan city.
Children as young as 10 years old were among those taken from the scene.
The authorities have launched an investigation into the accident and two people have been taken into custody as part of the initial investigation.
Emergency services 1122 spokesman Farooq Ahmed told the BBC they received a call about the incident at 16:45 (12:45 BST).
He said that the rescue operation was completed within an hour and the people who recovered from the disease were between seven and 11 years old.
Five others were reportedly injured.
