Organ donation helped save seven lives after A27 crash.

A 20-year-old man who died in a crash on the A27 has been paid tribute to his generosity after donating his organs helped save the lives of seven people.

Edward Pearce, known as Bunty, from Heathfield, East Sussex, was fatally injured in a crash near Pevensey on his way to work on July 13.

According to his family, Pierce, an organ donor, donated six organs to help seven people in urgent need of transplants.

“Even in passing, Edward’s kindness and compassion for giving the precious gift of life to others created a legacy that will last for generations,” his family said.

A much-loved child, family member and friend described the day as full of ‘purpose, laughter and adventure’.

Pearce was training as a plumber and hoped to work in Australia, they added.
