OpenAI wants its new tool to do it for you and you

Last year, we tested “Agent Mode” in OpenAI’s Atlas browser, we complained that any automated tasks stop after a few minutes, reducing the need for continuous or complex tasks. With today’s release of ChatGPT ServiceOpenAI claims to have solved this problem with a new tool that can “live on a project for hours if needed, and turn a goal into a finished project.”

The company challenges users to evaluate ChatGPT Services by “providing(ing) a job you know best,” such as analyzing a budget or planning a sales meeting. The company also promises that the ChatGPT Service can automate all processes, from customer surveys to close campaigns to local marketing campaigns, for example. At the same time, the company emphasizes that the tool will wait for you to “accept the necessary actions.”

The ChatGPT service also includes Scheduled Jobs, a standard type of cron job that can “scrape duplicate jobs” on a schedule or at any time that is monitored. These services can continue when you are away from your desk and can be monitored from your phone, the company says.
