In midfield, Mourinho asks for two players who he considers essential, not luxury. The former is a defensive anchor who can compete with Choumini and cover his absence, while the latter is a creative, playmaking midfielder similar to Norwegian Orsnes, who worked with him at Benfica.

He believes that this last position has become an urgent necessity, as Real Madrid currently lacks it completely.

As for the offensive line, the Portuguese coach does not see the need for any changes in it.
