According to a report by Varietythe project is the new film of Adams, who cast Tarantino in his previous film Only What We Carry, which premiered on June 6 at the Tribeca film festival in New York. Described as “an elaborate drama filmed in six days on the beaches of Normandy”, Only What We Carry stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as a dancer and Simon Pegg as her former choreographer, with Tarantino appearing as a “rich benefactor”.

In a Variety report in FebruaryAdams said he sent Tarantino the script for Only What We Carry, then met with him on Zoom and persuaded him to appear, saying: “Once you hear his voice, you’re transported. It’s like Disneyland for filmmakers.”
