On the run for 20 years, a most wanted fugitive is caught hiding as a biotech executive



One of Rhode Island’s most wanted fugitives was arrested in New York last week after more than 20 years in hiding as a biotech executive, according to Articles of Stat.

In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Monday, California-based Immix Biopharma said Richard Graydon was fired Friday for “reasons unrelated to his actions on the Company.”

It turned out that Richard Graydon was the name of Ronald Fischer, a 70-year-old former psychiatrist licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, who escaped in 2005 from his first rape conviction. Fischer was accused of sexually assaulting a woman on his boat, The Lion King.
