The 5-time world champion links his fate with the Italian veteran
The Brazilian Football Confederation has announced a four-year contract extension with Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, allowing him to remain in charge of the Seleção until the 2030 World Cup finals.

In the 10 matches he took charge of the team, he managed five wins and two draws against three defeats, while his players scored 18 goals and conceded eight, a figure Al-Ittihad saw as a “solid foundation” for the long-term plan.

For his part, Brazilian Football Confederation president Samir Zod described the day as “historic for Brazilian football”, stressing that Ancelotti’s contract extension was “a firm step in our commitment to provide a strong, modern and competitive structure for the national team”.
“We work every day to maintain Brazil’s position at the highest levels of world football, paying close attention to the development of other national teams, the competitions organized by the federation and the strengthening of clubs and federations throughout the country.”
Extending Ancelotti’s contract until 2030, Brazil have opted for stability and European experience to lead a new generation of talent, betting clearly that combining a Brazilian identity with an Italian mentality is the best way to regain the title that has been missing since 2002.
