The end of the Maestro’s journey
NEOM Club has officially announced the departure of Saudi Arabian midfielder Salman Al-Faraj after an amicable agreement was reached in the last few hours not to renew his contract, thereby ending his experience with the club.
Al-Faraj joined NEOM in the summer of 2024 following the end of his career with Al-Hilal, and he managed to contribute to the team during the Roshan League promotion season, before the team finished last season in eighth place in the league table.

NEOM Club sent a message of thanks through their official account on the X platform, saying: “Thank you, Salman Al-Faraj, for everything you have given the club recently and we wish you the best of luck in the next phase.”
Al-Faraj played 24 matches with NEOM in various competitions, during which he did not score any goals, but scored 3 goals, and played a leading role in the midfield during his time with the team.
In a related context, press reports have indicated that Al-Faraj is close to joining recently relegated club Al-Najma from the Yellow League, a move that could determine his next destination in the current transfer window.
