Al-Ahli Club announced today, Wednesday, the end of the partnership with one of the stars of the midfield after a seven-year professional journey with the Red Team.
Mali international Aliou Dieng’s contract with Al-Ahly naturally expired at the end of the current season, as Dieng has been linked with a move to Spanish club Valencia for some time to start his new career in the Spanish league from next season.
In an official statement, Al-Ahly Club expressed its deep thanks and appreciation to Aliu Dieng for all he has given during his time with the team, praising his professionalism, dedication and fighting spirit, which contributed to many achievements.
Dieng enjoyed a successful spell at Al-Ahly after joining from Mouloudia Algeria in the summer of 2019, where he participated in winning 16 titles, including 3 Egyptian league titles, 4 African Champions League titles and other local and continental titles.

Notably, Dieng played his last match for Al Ahli in the last round of the league against Al Masri Club of Port Said amid a warm farewell from the club’s fans.
