A different adventure
Napoli FC have officially announced that Massimiliano Allegri will take charge of first team football as the club welcomed a new technical director who has signed a contract with the team until June 30, 2029.
Massimiliano Allegri began his coaching career in the 2003/2004 season after a long career as a player, during which he also wore the shirt of Napoli in the 1997/1998 season.
Allegri led Sassuolo to a historic first promotion to the second division in the 2007/2008 season, and in the same year he won the third division’s Supercoppa, and a few months later he made his first appearance in the Italian first division with Cagliari, finishing ninth and winning the Supercoppa d’Or.
Allegri assumed the position of coach of “Milan” in 2010. Where he managed to win the eighteenth Italian league title and the sixth Italian Supercoppa in the history of the Rossoneri.
From 2014 to 2019, he led the technical management of Juventus, winning five consecutive league titles, four consecutive Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa titles. He also led the Bianconeri to the Champions League final twice in the same period.
Allegri returned two years later to lead Juventus to their fifth Coppa Italia in 2024, while last season he coached AC Milan again and finished fifth in the league.
“Napoli” club ended the announcement by welcoming the new technical director, addressing him with the expression “Welcome, Mr. Allegri”.
