Postal voting procedures

The planned activities will be carried out as follows:

After that, the containers remain in the closed room mentioned above in accordance with the provisions of the election system and Annexure II.

Attendees will be able to check the integrity of containers and their seals when placing them in storage.

Steps to strengthen transparency and confidence in the integrity of Real Madrid’s elections

This room will remain locked and under 24-hour surveillance by the club’s security services. It will also be equipped with video surveillance systems, which will operate continuously throughout the entire period of storage of election documents.

In order to promote transparency and confidence in postal vote storage procedures, candidates who so request may appoint one of their duly accredited observers to remain in the vicinity of the storage area at all times during the period that postal votes remain there.

This presence is limited to observation only and does not confer any authority to preserve, control, access or interfere with election documents, containers, seals or postal votes. Observers may also not enter the warehouse or its contents, except in the cases and procedures expressly provided for in the election regulations and Appendix II, or with the approval of the election board in the presence of the notary of the club, if necessary.

The presence of auditors in the specified area must be understood to be in accordance with the existing control and security systems in the Club’s facilities and in a place subject to an existing video surveillance system and relevant image processing in accordance with the applicable regulations.

For organizational purposes, candidates are requested to contact us as soon as possible.

a) Will they attend the above-mentioned events or not?

b) the identity of the auditor who will represent the candidate;

c) A mobile phone number to contact the above auditor for the sole purpose of locating him in the event of an incident related to the implementation of the required procedures.

The absence of representatives of one or both of the candidates will not hinder or suspend the planned procedures.
