Nine teams, four spots – the Premier League is set for European battle

BrightonBy Fabian Herzeller: “We have to go and get ready for the last match (vs Manchester United) We have faced a lot of adversity this season and we will overcome it. It’s a painful loss but we have to stay positive.

“We have to overcome the disappointment, prepare well and believe that we can still do it. We did a lot today.”

EvertonBy David Moyes: “A lot of times today we didn’t look like a European team – that’s for sure. Things didn’t go our way. The players did an amazing job at times but it wasn’t there today.

“We messed up big time. Chances are if we had won things would have been a lot different. Everton For some time there was no chance to climb to the top of the league table. I’m also disappointed that they missed that opportunity to keep pushing. Today shows that we are probably not quite ready.”

FulhamMarco Silva’s: “It’s been an incredible journey and I have to commend (D Fulham Bhakta) per day. We had some very, very good, moments on the pitch. Myself, I am very ambitious and I want to give more for them.

“I wanted to give them a European trip next season, it didn’t happen and we have to move on. The most important thing is to analyze and be clear to the board what the club really needs to move forward.

“It’s not good to be stagnant in the Premier League because at some point you’re bound to get a bad surprise.”

SunderlandIts Regis and Bris: “It’s on, but it’s not done. The most important thing is to focus on our values. It can be a disappointment when you start to dream. The opposition (Chelsea) will be stronger.

“We have to be at our best, train properly and hopefully the fans have the strength and energy to be at our best. We will have that conversation (what it means to the club) whenever it (European football) starts after the (final) game.”
