Kane is just 4 players ahead of Kane on the all-time list, while he is now level with Germany’s Gerd Müller in 5th place and just two goals away from German record holder Miroslav Klose (16 goals).

For his part, Jude Bellingham has a chance to be included in a rare historic list at the World Cup.
Squaca noted that the Real Madrid player could become only the second midfielder in the tournament’s history to score two or more goals in 3 different matches, tying the record of Peru’s Teofilo Cubillas.
