American daredevil Nicholas Rossi, who faked his death and fled to Scotland to escape justice, has died in a US hospital.
The Utah Department of Corrections said the 38-year-old was suffering from a “degraded, deranged condition.”
Rossi was convicted in 2024 of raping two women in Utah in 2008 after two separate trials.
He was sentenced to serve two sentences of five years to life consecutively.
Rossi fled to Scotland in 2021 to escape justice but was detained in a Glasgow hospital’s Covid ward.
