Neymar: Brazil forward Robinho Jr apologizes to Santos team-mate for slapping him

“Everybody makes mistakes. It’s my mistake. The mistake. I made a little big mistake.

“He’s my favorite kid, I have a special love for him. It happens in football – you argue with your friend’s brother.

“This is football, it’s part of the game.”

Robinho Jr. said Neymar “immediately understood that he had gone too far” and apologized “several times” for the misunderstanding.

“(Neymar) was my idol since I was a child, so it was a frustrating situation for me,” he added.

“People around us say a lot of untrue things and it’s sad to see it blow up to this level.

“But I’m fine. I really like it. We’ve already talked and it’s all settled.”
