Today Nigel Farage resigned as MP, revealing plans to run in Clacton. He is currently facing an ongoing parliamentary inquiry into his disclosure of a £5 million gift he received from cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harbour. In a statement released online, Farage said he had “done nothing wrong” and needed the money for security. He accused Sky News of harassing the family and said standards rules had been weaponized by “the establishment”.
