NBA star LeBron James to join the Philadelphia 76ers

LeBron James has announced that he will join the Philadelphia 76ers next season for what will be his final contract in the NBA.

The 41-year-old, the league’s all-time leading scorer, left the Los Angeles Lakers last month after eight years.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat have also been reported as potential suitors for James.

“I believe I can help the Philadelphia 76ers become a championship team and I’m excited to inspire a new fan base and start this amazing journey one last time,” James said on X.
