Someone special has made his decision
Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho informed the management of “Real Madrid” that he does not rely on one of the team’s players in the next season, according to the Spanish press.
On Wednesday, website Objective reported that Mourinho, who is close to taking over at Real if Florentino Perez wins the presidency, has informed management that Argentine international Franco Mastantuno (18) will not be part of his project.
Mastantuno (who joined Real Madrid last summer for €63.5m from River Plate) is considered one of the most high-profile young signings the Royals have made in recent years, but he has yet to perform at the level expected.
After the Morocco-Senegal final, FIFA approved refereeing changes for the 2026 World Cup.

Mourinho is reluctant to give the Argentine another chance as he looks to rebuild the squad, having previously expressed his desire to get rid of some elements before partially backing down from selling Federico Valverde, provided he fully complies with his instructions.
Mastantuno’s fate remains completely uncertain, as Real Madrid could either loan him out or sell him in the upcoming summer transfer window, given the new manager’s lack of confidence in him.
