The Razr Fold has three 50 MP cameras.

A long-standing issue with Moto cameras has been their slow speed, which made it difficult to capture moving subjects. The main camera of the Razr Fold is very fast. It’s not as durable as Google’s Pixel phones, but you’re still more likely to find a child or pet that doesn’t look good.
Light outside, fast moving.

Some of the photos I’ve taken with the Razr look great – they’re sharp, detailed, and clear. In general, Motorola has also been good at using different colors, bringing out more in both light and dark environments. Pictures are good in low light, but the Motorola’s night photography still trails the competition.
These changes seem to come at the expense of processing time, however. What you see in the camera is often very different from what you get when you optimize everything. And there are drawbacks to that, too. Some images can appear too exaggerated, with strange edges and fine lines. It’s like the original Pixel HDR images that created halos around objects.
Having high-quality secondary sensors on the foldable is still unconfirmed, so it’s good to see the Moto trying it out here. The 50 MP ultrawide captures a lot, although processing can blur some of the busy scenes. The 122-degree screen is very wide, but there is very little distortion.
Great big lens.

3x telephoto.

As usual, the phone’s 3x zoom doesn’t offer much access, but the Razr’s high resolution gives you a chance if you want to zoom in for a better view. It won’t look amazing, but you’ll be able to see what’s going on. However, the telephoto seems to make up for its small aperture by adding color in a way that seems almost artificial.
No matter the device, $1,900 for the phone is a big ask. Folders aren’t new, and after ten years, it’s clear that these bulky tools aren’t cheap. If anything, all kinds of phones are becoming more expensive due to the increase in the price of groups. Is the performance there to justify spending nearly $2,000 on a phone?
