Motorola has just revealed the price of the Razr Fold and hoo boy

2026 is shaping up to be a tough year to launch a flagship phone. The memory problem has phone prices rising across the board, so an already expensive phone is at risk of becoming a more the most expensive phone. This may be the case with the Razr Fold, which will cost $1,900 when it goes on sale in the US on May 14. This does not include the Moto Pen Ultra stylus, which costs an additional $100.

This puts the Razr Fold in a bit of a tough spot. It’s thinner and lighter than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but it doesn’t have the Pixel’s dust resistance. The Razr is IP48/IP49 rated, so it’s rated “small”. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also dustproof, but less so than the Razr.

There is one saving grace: a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering more power than either of the two devices. Battery life on the Fold 7 and 10 Pro Fold is good, not good, and Razr Fold’s can be amazing. That It cannot be originally folded like a bookbut he would being the first to be sold in North America.

I did saw the Razr Fold several times in the body at this pointso it is good to know how much this phone will cost. But now I have more questions: Does it live up to the promise of better battery life? For nineteen hundred US dollars? In this economy? Motorola certainly hopes so.
