All eyes are on Egyptian star Mohamed Salah after reports in Turkish media revealed new and surprising developments regarding his future amid intense competition to sign him in the summer transfer window after his historic journey with Liverpool comes to an end.
Salah brought the curtain down on an exceptional nine-year Liverpool career that saw him write his name in golden letters in the club’s history after leading the team to every possible domestic and continental title, leaving Anfield as one of the best players to ever wear a Reds shirt.
Turkish side Besiktas were the closest to securing the services of Mohamed Salah, after the two sides reached an agreement requiring the player to sign a one-year contract with the option to extend for an additional season.
But Besiktas sporting director Onder Ozen revealed at a press conference on Monday night that the deal was called off at the final stage, despite an initial agreement, due to a dispute over the player’s financial demands.

According to famous Turkish journalist Yagız Sabunkoğlu, Salah has several offers from Turkish League clubs, in addition to American League and Saudi League offers.
Sabunkoglu confirmed through his account on the platform.X:“Today, Salah and his agent Rami Abbas will have a meeting to evaluate all the official offers and make a final decision on the Egyptian star’s next destination.
