Microsoft launched Teams’ Together Mode during the epidemic to give the illusion of a group of people sitting in a meeting room together, even if they are at home without pants. But times have changed, and here it is after retirement instead of simple Teams activities. This feature used AI to cut your head off and remove it, placing you in the same position as the others in the meeting. It might seem silly – especially when you’re going to grab your co-workers on the shoulder, or give a high five – but it reduced the distractions.
The update is being rolled out slowly, but as it stands, the Together Mode update will disappear from the viewport. And the things that are Together, like the screen and the parts of the seat, will be compatible with it. One of the ideas, according to Microsoft, is to reduce fragmentation between different platforms. But it also calls for a flexible interface with fewer options, fewer clicks, and less confusion. It also says that this will allow the company to focus on video upgrades, stability, and performance.
