Microsoft has not stopped releasing the Xbox

Microsoft plans to do it lay off the main part of its Xbox section and it is review plans for the next generation of the Project Helix console. It appears to be considering renewing its relationship with Xbox, and has not said it will switch to another company.

New report from The Information suggests that Microsoft has considered major steps to make its Xbox division more sustainable. This includes converting it into a limited company, a joint venture, or winding it up, with the possibility of selling the business. The report doesn’t indicate that anything is imminent, but it seems that new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella haven’t taken anything off the table when it comes to the future of Xbox.

Sharma has won approval to invest heavily in tentpole titles like Halo and Fallout. The first one hasn’t seen a new release since 2021, and the last Fallout title was Fallout 4 in 2015. He also said that the big things to come Weapons: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be Xbox only. Even this money in its most famous place can come because of the small studios and games that it owns he failed to live sales expectations.
