Microsoft Has Come Up With The Best Prime Day Laptop Deals So Far

There is no denying it rising laptop prices. But it is Prime Dayand this is a different time than this example. I’ve been looking at prices on everything my favorite laptopsand there is one Prime Day winner this year: the High Quality Laptop.

Although prices soared earlier this year, they are now down to $835, which is $515 cheaper than what they were selling for a few months ago. This is great, especially in 2026.

13.8-inch Premium Laptop (7th Edition)

This model came out in 2024, and it comes with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Although this sounds old, I wouldn’t say it’s old fashioned at all. The new version, which uses it Snapdragon X2 chipsit just came out a few weeks ago and costs almost twice as much. But this model is very durable and has a long battery life.

No matter what model you get, the chassis is the same. It’s very classy and well-designed, with a thin profile, one of my favorite keyboards, and a haptic trackpad. It is very similar to MacBook in its simple operation.

Its standard, in my book, is a 3:2 display. That aspect ratio means it’s taller than a typical 16:10 laptop, giving you a nicer screen area to work with. This may sound counterintuitive to some applications, but I’ve found it useful. No matter what kind of work you do on your laptop, having a vertical screen on your screen will help you see more and do more. The display also has a 120-Hz refresh rate, which makes animations and motion look much better. It’s a look though MacBook Air they are.

The downside to this deal is that you don’t have the option here for different models or configurations. The $835 deal is on just one model of this laptop. If you want more storage, for example, you’ll pay hundreds of dollars. But there is no doubt that this is the best laptop on sale at this price right now.
