Microsoft brings out cheaper Surface devices with half the memory

Aside from cutting the device’s memory in half, Microsoft hasn’t changed anything else on the Surface Pro and the more affordable Surface Laptop. They still come with an 8-core Snapdragon X Plus chip and 256GB of storage, but they won’t offer support for Copilot Plus, Microsoft built in AI tech which requires at least 16GB of RAM.
